About Us and What We Value

Dr. Torkelson has an outpatient solo Internal Medicine primary care practice. Our staff also includes a receptionist, medical assistant, and a registered nurse. This smaller practice size allows us to spend more time with our patients and know them more intimately. During the week Dr. Torkelson covers his own call for urgent problems after hours. He shares call on the weekends with two other primary care Internal Medicine doctors. We value our relationship with our patients. We encourage good habits and healthy lifestyles. We do not judge or reject and value the uniqueness we all possess. We encourage mutual respect.
